Matsuyama College of Welfare was established shortly after the 1987 Social Worker and Care Worker Law of Japan in 1990. Having only the Nursing Care and Welfare Department, it strengthens to supply high-quality education in the country through its extensive approach to ensure individual growth and guidance. For the past years, the Matsuyama College of Welfare performance has been getting better with its ranking to the Practice Exam for the care worker’s group throughout Japan, out of 293 institutions they ranked 3rd Place in 2012 and 8th Place in 2013 out of 324 institutions.
Recently, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan specified training facilities for care workers and social welfare officers and Matsuyama College of Welfare is among those accredited training institution. In addition, Matsuyama College of Welfare has its own Japanese language school, the Miyabi Language Institute, so foreign students will surely get a well prepared Japanese language education and life support.
